We live in a time when healthcare is in full development. An ordinary consultation or brief consultation will more often be done remotely, for example by calling or video calling your practitioner. The Helpdesk Digital Care is available for all questions that are not medically substantive, but do provide support in digital contact with your care provider. You can think of questions about video calling, online physiotherapy or logging into the patient portal. In addition to online contact with your doctor or practitioner, you can also monitor your health yourself. There are various techniques with which you can measure your blood pressure, heart rate and glucose value yourself, for example. We can support you in setting up these technical applications. In this way, together we ensure that remote care comes closer. The helpdesk is housed at the Care Innovation House, an initiative of Amaris Zorggroep, Tergooi Hospital and RHO-GO and is now staffed by volunteers. The ambition is that the helpdesk also contributes to the employment and sustainable employability of, for example, people who cannot be deployed temporarily in physical care, but can be valuable from the helpdesk. Care is changing rapidly, especially in this age of corona. “The digital component is getting bigger and bigger. Major steps have been taken in the region in the digitization of healthcare.
