Triage system (SemLab)

Triage system (SemLab)

MediTra is an optimized system for medical emergency determination, or triage. Any triage protocol (European Triage protocol, NHG Triage Guide, Dutch Triage Standard, Manchester Triage System, Boston Emergency Index, etc.) can be included in our MediTra software. MediTra has been specifically developed to support the triage nurse / doctor's assistant / triagist in the doctor's post, in the emergency room ambulance service or in the emergency department. The system helps the triagist by interactively indicating what information is needed to determine the urgency of a complaint. At the same time, MediTra ensures that the chosen triage protocol is applied consistently and measurably. With our MediTra Manager software, the use of the MediTra system can be analyzed. The MediTra system consists of five steps that together cover the entire triage process. The first step consists of entering the patient data, after which it must be determined whether the patient is ABCD safe (no threat to vital functions). If the patient is ABCD safe, the main input complaint is selected in the next step. This is followed by the triage screen where the urgency is determined. The final step consists of determining the correct advice and follow-up actions, after which the triage is concluded. MediTra is specially designed to be used in combination with a registration system such as SemLab's OpenHAP (HIS, HIS, Call handling system). Links with the most common systems of other suppliers are also available so that double entry of data is avoided.
